In this training, participants are introduced to the methodology of Inclusive Job Design and learn how to apply it in practice.
The core of the training consists of:
– Introductions.
– Practical exercises to learn the basic skills of Inclusive Job Design.
– Tools to approach and advise employers from the perspective of Inclusive Job Design.
The training consists of 3 steps spread over seven half-day sessions.
1. Basic orientation
The first four half-day sessions ‘basic orientation Inclusive Job Design’ are consecutive.
– The first half-day session will mainly focus on the background of Inclusive Job Design: what are the basic principles and how do these principles affect the analyses to be performed to create jobs for groups with a large distance to the labour market.
– The remaining three half-days consist, on the one hand, of practising the methodology on the basis of various case histories and translating the findings into an advice to the employer describing potentially suitable elementary jobs and their consequences for existing jobs (Quick Scan). And on the other hand from training an employer approach in the context of Inclusive Job Design.
2. Analysis and adjustments
After these two days of training, the participants carry out a Inclusive Job Design Analysis themselves.
A fifth half-day session is given after a period to be agreed upon. The results of the Quick Scan are discussed and participants can make any adjustments based on these results.
3. Impact and advice
Soon after, the last two half-day sessions focus on describing the effects of the employment analysis in economic terms for the organisation and with regard to the implications of the created jobs for existing jobs. On this basis, the participant is able to supplement the results of his/her own analyses into a complete advice.
Certification
Participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of ‘successful participation’. The participant can then take the step of becoming a certified Inclusive Job Designer. This can be done by completing an aptitude test, in which the candidate works completely independently on a new case and prepares a business advice according to the criteria set for this purpose.
